Big Top Denver was a wild success. The MCs, bands, dancers, comedians and everything else were on point. Bender’s was packed, front and back, and everyone had a great time. Big up to Popular Lemonade and 2509 for fucking killing it with the first truly dope party of the year. If you didn’t make it, you really missed out. Besides being a great show, we were able to help out a very important charity called SafeHouse Denver. We gave away a lot of cool raffle prizes that night that were donated by some local Denver businesses. The community was so good to our cause that we ended up with more donated goods then could be given out in one night. In just a few weeks we will be at the April DenverTweetup to give away the rest of the stuff we got.
Some of the stuff for grabs includes local, original art; gift certificates to bars and restaurants; a couple of pairs of designer sunglasses; I think there are some skate decks and some other stuff too. There is a bunch of stuff to raffle off and chances of scooping something dope are pretty good.
Join us for happy hour at the Star Bar on Tuesday April 25. Kick it with Unseen Denver, Popular Lemonade and #DenverTweetup, have some drinks and help us raise money for SafeHouse.
